Events Coordinator

This role will entail overseeing all events; from leading ideas sessions with the committee to come up with event ideas, to implementing some of those ideas. You’ll need to be organised, enthusiastic, and be a good team leader. The time commitment of this role is flexible and will vary depending on whether there is an event in the pipeline. We estimate some weeks it would be as little as 20minutes (just to keep on top of everything) and some weeks it might be 3 or 4 hours (for example if you are running an event that week). This is a year commitment, with possible extension. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Hosting an annual online careers event through the A-LAW online platform
  • Liaising with the Comms Lead for publicity around events
  • Coordinating quarterly online book club and/or discussion meetings
  • Attending committee meetings
  • Recruiting members to help with events/to offer the experience of running events with you
  • Keep a calendar of events
