a-law offers subsidised student places for the second conference on animal law, ethcis & policy

The UK Centre for Animal Law (A-law) and Liverpool John Moores University are proud to host their second Animal Law, Ethics and Policy Conference 2019.

The conference will take place over two days at Liverpool John Moores University in Liverpool on September 10th and 11th.

We are very pleased to make available 65 free student tickets (subject to a £5.00 registration fee and limited to one per person) for this two-day conference.

This heavily discounted rate has been made possible by a grant from Animal Charity Evaluators’ Effective Animal Advocacy Fund. Their support means that the conference will be accessible to many students, who will be able to hear from a wide range of wonderful and informative speakers and learn about animal law, ethics and policy.

We are also running a poster competition for undergraduate students sponsored by the Humane Society International UK. The posters will be on display during the conference and there are prizes for the winning entries. You can find the competition details here.

We encourage students to purchase their ticket early as places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and are strictly limited to the first 65 students who apply.

Book your place and find out more information here.
