A-law receives grant from Effective Animal Advocacy Fund

A-law is pleased to announce it has been selected as a recipient of a grant from Animal Charity Evaluator’s (ACE) Effective Animal Advocacy Fund (EAAF). The Fund reviewed grant applications based on three criteria, namely scale, tractability and neglectedness. A-law is one of nine charities working to influence law and policy that was selected to receive a grant. We have also been recognised for our capacity-building work.

A-law has received a grant totalling $19,147 (approx. £14,600) and we will be using these funds to further expand our student outreach work. We will do this by employing a part-time Student Coordinator for one year and by offering a number of subsidised student places at our forthcoming Animal Law, Ethics and Policy conference, which we are co-hosting with LJMU Law School this September.

You can find out more about the EAAF and the other recipients here.
